Treating Animals with Compassion
Our hogs, cattle, chickens and turkeys are raised the old-fashioned way — on family farms — and are free to behave like animals. They roam, root and rummage. They have access to daylight and fresh air. They’re fed an all-vegetarian diet and are never confined in crates or given antibiotics, growth enhancers or added hormones. And they get to live their lives without undue stress or agitation. Ultimately, our animals are happier. And both taste and nutritional tests prove that happier animals result in healthier, more flavorful and better-quality meat.
Here at Fork in the Road, we believe that it is imperative to treat animals with dignity and respect.
Our animals are sustainably raised in open spaces where they’re free to roam and exhibit their natural behaviors.
