How are your animals humanely raised?

All of our partner farmers and ranchers are committed to raising healthy and happy animals in a humane manner. The animals are never caged, crated or inhumanely confined. They are fed an all-vegetarian diet without antibiotics, hormones or animal by-products.

Our farms and ranches have been animal welfare certified through the Global Animal Partnership 5-Step Program. This third-party certification recognizes producers for their commitment to animal welfare practices, and promotes and facilitates continuous improvement in animal agriculture.

What are your animals fed?

What are natural flavorings?

Natural flavorings are exactly that –– 100% natural. They are derived from botanical sources like vegetables, fruits, and spices. Rest assured there are no chemicals, animal products, MSG, or artificial ingredients used in any of our products. If you have concerns about any specific ingredients, please contact us.

Do your products contain nitrites?

We do not add any synthetic nitrites to our products. Our products contain only naturally occurring nitrites such as those found in celery as a result of photosynthesis.

Do your products contain MSG?

We do not add MSG to any of our products.

Do your products contain gluten, dairy, nuts or wheat?

All of our products are gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free and wheat-free. However, they are made in a facility that uses those ingredients in other products and share the same production line. While all equipment is thoroughly washed before making our product and our meats have always tested negative for traces of these ingredients, people with severe sensitivities should be aware of the process.

Are your sausages and hot dogs fully cooked?

Yes, all of our sausages and hot dogs are fully cooked. Just heat, serve and enjoy!

I see your hot dogs have added sugar. Why?

Our chefs spent countless hours experimenting with and fine-tuning the recipe for our hot dogs. We added as little sugar as possible to get the robust flavor people love.

Do your hot dogs and sausages have casings?

We categorize our hot dogs and sausages as either "Skinless" or "Natural Casing".

What’s the best way to handle and store your products? Can they be frozen?

Our products should be kept in refrigerated conditions at all times. We recommend using an insulated grocery or lunch bag with ice packs whenever transporting the product, whether it's to home from the grocery store or to a school lunch table.

Our meats can be enjoyed all the way up to the "use by" date as long as the package is unopened and properly refrigerated. Once opened, please consume within 3-5 days, regardless of the expiration date.

Our products can be frozen. If you choose to freeze an item, we recommend you do so in an unopened package as early as possible before the expiration date. Consume within 24 hours of defrosting.

Does your packaging contain BPA?

No. Our packaging is BPA-free.
